Welcome to the Permanence Challenge
A simple daily practice for lasting success—created by world-renowned coach Dr. Marshall Goldsmith and author Lisa Broderick
What Is the Permanence Challenge?
The Permanence Challenge is a transformative, self-paced journey that helps you stop chasing quick wins and start building success that actually sticks. Developed by Dr. Marshall Goldsmith and Lisa Broderick—co-authors of Permanence: Become the Person You Want to Be—and Stay That Way—this experience distills decades of research and real-world coaching into just a few minutes a day.
At its core?
Six deceptively simple questions—answered daily—to keep you focused, accountable, and aligned with your deepest values and goals.
This is your path to permanent progress—not just success for a season, but success for life.
How It Works
Step 1: Sign Up for Free
Join the Permanence Challenge and get immediate access to your digital toolkit—including the six daily questions, habit tracker, reflection prompts, and community check-ins. Click here to sign up
Within 24 hours you’ll receive a welcome email containing blank Journal pages and instructions for how to use them. You’ll also get weekly insights, video motivations, and chances for personal coaching on your goals.
Step 2: Commit to 2 Minutes a Day
Each morning or evening, take 2 minutes to ask yourself the same six questions. You can also ask yourself questions which are specific and personal to you. Questions may include personal goals, professional priorities, relationships, wellbeing, and purpose. You’ll score yourself 1–10 each day—no judgment, just awareness.
Step 3: Watch Your Focus—and Life—Change
Over time, these small daily reflections spark big shifts. You’ll become more intentional, less reactive, and better at doing what really matters. You’ll spot patterns, improve discipline, and finally close the gap between what you say you want and what you actually do.
